PLATTSBURGH, NY. (WCAX) – A retired metropolis of Plattsburgh firefighter and 9/11 first responder has died from most cancers.
The Plattsburgh Hearth chief says Scott LaFlesh, a 24-year veteran of the division, died from most cancers attributed to his work at floor zero within the fast aftermath of the terrorist assaults. The 49-year-old retired final February on account of his sickness.
Chief Scott Lawliss says LaFlesh “was a good friend to all who knew him.”
At LaFlesh’s request, there can be no public calling hours, The funeral is subsequent Monday at 11 a.m. on the Plattsburgh United Methodist Church.
